From a time of grief to a mission of joy, Beach Tennis Maryland was born not just to play—but to heal, connect, and uplift.
HEALING, DISCOVERY & THE SPARK
After losing two dear family members, we sought restoration in Aruba. There we discovered beach tennis—a game that called itself “addictive,” and lived up to that promise. From the first serve, music pulsed, feet sank in sand, laughter echoed—and we felt alive again.
Returning home, we asked: Why can’t Maryland feel this energy too?
GROWING THE GAME IN MARYLAND
Since 2021, we’ve turned a spark into a full-blown movement. What began with borrowed nets has transformed into permanent beach tennis courts across Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
We host weekly play, organized leagues, and annual tournaments that attract players from near and far.
With each year, our community grows—and so does the joy, connection, and competition.
